I own a Chocolate-VX8550 which "freezes" when I am deleting all text messages. Possible solutions? - solutions text forgames of strategy

Verizon has updated the firmware on my phone, and gave me another phone for a few weeks later. Considering the many forums, it seems that most people have this problem when playing videos. Mine usually freezes when I delete all SMS messages. If you remove the battery and reinsert, restart and all is well for a while.
